The Girlie sale comes to ballard as The Vintage Closet

Liza September 19th, 2009

DSCN0199You may have seen the Girlie weekend sales in Seattle. Lots of nice used cowboy boots, hippie leather belts, slip dresses, and accessories. Now they have a more permanent home at the corner of 65th and 3rd NW. The prices are pretty good–especially for the boots. She’ll be open Thursdays through Sundays from noon til whenever the light starts to go. When winter arrives, there will be more set hours and the clothes will move inside. Next year the Girlie sale plans to hit the road in an airstream but will hopefully keep its brick and mortar location on 65th. Come on all you Girlie girls swing on by for some leather and lace!

I stumbled upon this place when I was having a garage sale this last summer. I felt like I had just found out about a ” The Best kept clothing secret in Seattle.”
Since that day I can honestly say that I always have at least one of the items on that I got from The Vintage Closet.
The Prices are affordable and the owner is so helpful and accommodating=)
I recommend this pace HIGHLY to anyone who wants to find clothing that is as unique and “one of a kind” are they are.
