Horror artist to show at the Ballard Art Walk
September 11, 2009 in Ballard by Sheldon Calbero
Artist and illustrator M. S. Corley will be prominently displayed as the artist of the month at Monster Art & Clothing, debuting Saturday, September 12th.
His artwork in the series “Horrors of Literature”, which will be displayed, is a mix of modern comic book art, with heavy influences of early 20th century horror, as well as early Japanese block prints.
However, in a display of talent, he is also capable of creating whimsical pieces, as well as being able to recreate classic Scholastic book covers for modern books.
