WTF does immigration have to do with this? Are you saying that it's immigrants who are scrawling pot leaves and penises on the Ballard Bowl?
We all know that it is bored kids. If the kids knew that they would be held personally liable for the thousands of dollars in removal costs and not just given a warning, I doubt that they'd be out there doing this.

This should not be tolerated by any of us. This costs us so much money annually, costs homeowners/businesses, and ruins the feel of our neighborhoods. These guys are punks, plain and simple, and deserve to be punished with maximum severity.

The best thing to do is to remove it immediately. If the tagger can't come back a couple days later and see it they're less likely to tag that spot again. If you leave the tag in place, other taggers are invited to respond with their tags and next thing you know you will have tags all over the place.
